Employer is a leading knitwear manufacturer with vertically integrated operations that mainly export to North American market. The general manager will be responsible for the sales and merchandising strategy and its operations located across multiple countries in Asia to drive operational excellence and business growth.
Job Description
- Develop and implement sales and merchandising strategy to meet revenue and profitability targets.
- Collaborate closely with senior management, design, product development and production team to optimize product offerings and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Lead sales and merchandising operations across geographical locations to ensure product lines are in alignment with market trends and customer demands.
- Manage and mentor account managers, merchandising mangers and build a high-performing team.
- Maintain and grow key accounts and develop new markets and accounts in line with company strength and growth strategies.
- Implement best practices in sales and merchandising operations to drive operational excellence and achieve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and above qualifications.
- 10 years and above work experience in garment sales and merchandising operations, and prior experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Well-versed in knitwear product development and production with solid knowledge in fabric.
- Strong leadership and experience in managing sales and merchandising team.
- Excellence communication skills with good command of both English and Chinese/Mandarin(must).
- Customer-oriented with a strong passion for garment industry.
